Q: How do I have representation as a buyer?
A: If you choose  to have buyer representation in a contract, then your REALTOR® has an obligation to protect you with proper clauses & all of the info you need in an Agreement of Purchase & Sale when you are purchasing a property.  You can also work with a REALTOR® in purchasing a home and have customer representation and not have the REALTOR® represent you in a contract.

Q: What are the steps in buying a house?
A: The first step in buying a home is to choose a REALTOR® and have a meeting with them, make a list of what you are looking for in a home, what area you would like to live in and what type of home would best suit you & your family.  As well, one of the first steps in buying is having a pre-approved mortgage from a mortgage company or bank so you know what price range to shop in and what you can afford.
